Mackenzies James Ltd is a new and dynamic addition to the executive search arena in both London and Edinburgh. Established in 2007 by Tim Connellan, its goal is to provide the highest quality of research led Executive search to clients working with the Financial Services advisory space.

This is a proven solution to local recruitment issues and it involves the complete management of an international campaign to recruit the best and relocate the best talent to the United Kingdom. Tim Connellan has personally run 15 of these campaigns internationally from a London base and without exception they have been a cost effective and highly successful method to address recruitment shortages.

Mackenzie James will focus on candidates who have an accounting background. Broadly speaking the roles we will work on will have a transactional basis. Areas of focus will be those areas where the technical skills of an accountant add value to the transaction. This will include roles which require specialist modelling skills, due diligence experience, specialist accounting knowledge and corporate finance.

Whilst Mackenzie James will consider working on exclusive contingency roles, the focus of the company will be retained quality assignments which are filled in a research led manner. We are focused on delivering solutions and minimising risk to both our clients and candidates.
